Atari Refresh
Atari Redesign
2006-2007, Atari Inc.
These designs are something special. One of the biggest projects I undertook at Atari was the prospective new design of a much larger, more interactive web presence for the company.

Each of these designs represents a different phase of the process. Each was executed with painstaking care to try to deliver the most polished, refined visual concept possible.

Atari 4th of July
Atari 4th of July
2007, Atari Inc.
This is a creative design I did for a 4th of July promotion at Atari. I had free reign to make it as bright and colorful as I wanted, which you see wasn't too much of a problem. Once I was done with the design I coded it for the web and created a one-off version as a newsletter. Quite a few of the designs I do are usually adapted to things such as newsletters or advertisements.

img
Atari Site Refresh

These images are all of the Atari main site refresh. I lead the project to design a new header for the Atari website without disturbing the original code and subsequently undermining the entire code base. I designed and coded the header graphics to change for each season and selling point.

2007, Atari Inc.
This was a fun little piece that marked a turning point in the way I approached design when given free reign. I was asked to make a site with a "sneak preview" feel for press packages. "When it Comes" Digital Painting
2005, Personal
This was my submission for a Crestock competition. The stakes? TWO 30" Mac monitors and a new Mac Pro. I was up against some epic competition during this contest but that didn't daunt me.

We had to use at least one of the stock photos they provided. I didn't think about it at the time, but my submission started taking the form of one of my old paintings that I did in school. You can see that older work under "Art."

Climbing Shoes!
2006, Personal
So, once upon a time I was a heavy mountain climber. I bought these shoes off the internet that had a great reputation, but when they finally came in I realized how hideous they were. This sort of yellow-green puke color. So I decided to change up the way they looked with a couple of red and black felt-tipped markers. The final result was actually wonderful and no one could tell what the original color of the shoe was.
